At present, there are five full-time surgeons, one part-time surgeon, and three specialist nurses in the department. Our central ward is on the 11th floor of the hospital.

- Digestive tract emergency, benign and malignant diseases of intra-abdomen organs (such as gastric cancer, hepatoma, cholecystitis, acute illness, thyroid disease, breast disease, hernia, benign skin tumors, and trauma).
- At the same time, the department is responsible for the post-surgical chemotherapy, tracking of cancer surgery, and consultation of the hospital's intra-abdominal emergency. We run weekly seminars and monthly complication sessions to improve the treatment and care qualities. Also, we provide clinical teaching.
