- Surgical pathology: We receive and examine biopsy and resection specimens from the inpatient and outpatient departments.
- Cytopathology: We receive cervical pap smear slides and other body fluids, such as urine, sputum, pleural effusion, and ascites.
- Molecular pathology:
- Lung cancer: EGFR mutations, ROS-1 mutations, and ALK mutations;
- Colorectal cancer: EGFR mutations, ras mutations, and BRAF mutations;
- Breast: ER, PR status, and the Her-2 overexpression.
