• Introduction
  • Service Items

We provide various urological services based on the four principles - Safety, Evidence, Efficacy, and Innovation.

  • Safety
Patient safety is always our priority in clinical practice. Unpredictable consequences may occur in medical treatment or operation. Thus, we always stay focus and cautious when dealing with patient safety issues to fulfill En Chu Kong Hospital’s “All Safe” benedictions.
  • Evidence
Evidence-based medicine uses the most accurate evidence to judge a patient’s conditions with conscience, caution, and precision. In the face of uncertainties, a physician’s experience and judgments might sometimes be slightly imprecise. With evidence-based medicine and scientific statistics, we can maximize our efficacy from limited medical resources, creating a win-win situation for our hospital and the Health Insurance Bureau. Besides, evidence-based medicine is a lifelong learning attitude. We learn from clinical studies of various diseases, read credible medical and research journals, internalize the knowledge and convert them into clinical practice.
  • Efficiency
A famous legal maxim states that “Justice delayed, justice denied.” When we are battling diseases, a slow and heavy tank is less helpful than two fast machine guns. Immediate therapy of various urologic diseases, for instance, renal trauma, urinary tract infection, urosepsis, and renal colic, can improve patients' conditions and reduce the wastes of medical resources and help patients return healthy faster at the same time. This is important to the residents in Sanxia and Yingge Districts who are mostly salaried employees who need to return to work earlier to support their families.
  • Innovation
Based on the premises of safety, evidence, and efficiency, we promote and continue innovating to improve the medical qualities and provide the best services. “The newest may not be the best, but the best are all once the newest”. That is why we strive for “safe” innovation, “resource-efficient” innovation, and “sustainable” innovation.
