The case number of respiratory diseases such as asthma and COPD increases annually along with the deterioration of air quality, high prevalence of smoking behavior, and the aged population structure. Patients with chronic respiratory failure and dependent on ventilator use also increase. Therefore, we cooperate with the health insurance to provide community treatment and care services for various chest diseases and weaning program for ventilator-dependent patients.
Our service includes diagnosis, treatment, and care of patients with cardiopulmonary deficit or abnormality. Our servicing units include intensive care units, general wards, and emergency department and outpatient clinics, from adults to children and newborns.
We promote pulmonary rehabilitation and play roles in early treatment. The services include pulmonary function improvement and pulmonary rehabilitation such as breathing control, cough skill, exercise training (upper/lower limbs), and lung expansion therapy (NPV, Ultrasound, IPPB, cough machine, PEP, flutter).
