There are eleven specialists in this department, including three full-time and five part-time doctors and three nurse practitioners. Disease mangements requiring central or peripheral nervous system surgery are within our field. We cooperate with the trauma surgery team to provide the best treatment for emergency and accidental craniocerebral and spinal trauma injuries. The neurosurgical procedure is sophisticated, and its success depends on the doctors' professorship and the medical equipment support, e.g., navigation and 3D C-arm fluoroscopy. Also, we use a minimally invasive brain and spinal surgery system to conduct spinal surgery.
