We established this department to provide excellent medical services to the people of Sanxia and Yingge. Several well-trained radiologists in the NTUH joined our team to provide quality service at a medical center level. Our service includes routine radiography, fluoroscopic radiography, mammography, angiography, transarterial embolization, bone mass density, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging. In 2005, the hospital introduced PACS and renewed all medical imaging equipment to provide efficient medical images and reportings and prompt medical service quality.
The Sanxia and Yingge populations have been growing for the last few years. We enrolled more radiologists from medical centers and introduced new equipment and examinations: the new 320 rows CT scanner for coronary CTA, and the new generation MRI that reduces the time required in the examination and facilitates neurological imaging. Both the clinicians and the patients are benefitted from the diagnostic accuracy. Besides, several of our radiologists and female radiographers obtained certificates of high-quality mammography. In the future, we will participate in medical services and preventive medicine for the community.
